Brenda's post has created a whirlpool of clashing logic.
How the heck did I end up on the side of encouraging someone NOT to make a film....

wait a minute, lets add one more word......

yet,

not make a film, yet.

I have witnessed others so motivated to make their own film that they put zero value on the help others can provide, primarily because they themselves had placed no value on helping others succeed.

I can't say for sure if they would have been better off wanting to be part of a successful team before branching off on their own, but it sure seems like it in retrospect.

I suppose if you jump in the water and flail your arms enough, you will get attention. Good luck.

OK Alex show me the way you help me make mines. You don't know me the reason I start my Company is because I am disable and the disable don't get a chance to make films. You don't know who I am helping by doing my project or what it might change for The disable. Do not be so quick to judge. This is a real Co,and working on a film to stop and work on someone proeject is crazy,but I like to ad I have help a few people do a small projec before. Now it's my turn.

No Thanks I study great indie Filmmakers already. I know what to do. You are a Funny Guy to apply that someone should take there Money and but it in someone else Project!!!!! I did that stuff in school now I am working on my own 35mm film.I just wanted to know about all this talk about Digial.You Assume I don't know Filmmaking look you feel people should go help others out great I hope that is what you are doing puting your money into other people project if that is what you are doing then it is not wrong for you,but it is wrong for me. They are probably more focused in funding their own projects than being cheerleaders for others but perhaps they will have information they can share with you.

You might want to start by purchasing a VHS of their independent movie, Ready, Willing & Able. It's a movie worth studying on a myriad of levels, both in front the camera and behind the scenes.
